a note on fundraising

A few people have asked me about my fundraising. When you click on my fundraising page, you can see what has been donated and paid already. However, what you can't see are as yet unpaid matching gifts from companies that provide matching funds for employee donations to charity. Thankfully, the company I work for matches donations dollar for dollar. And many of my colleagues have been very generous with both their money and their support for me. (Special shoutout to Christine, who has been especially supportive with her bake sale and the marathon care package she put together for me. She is too cute!! Thank you Christine.) Anyway, so the total dollar amount I raised isn't really reflected on the page you can see. What I can see is the total once my company pays up and it is over $4,000!! Thank you to everyone who donated!
